is for the student not yet ready for a regular Algebra course.
The work in this class is with beginning concepts of algebra along
with a review of previous math skills. Pre Algebra will prepare

course is the first in a series of math courses which involves
working with equations to solve problems. This class is a prerequisite
for Algebra II, Geometry, Tri/Pre Cal, etc. and may be a requirement
for entrance to college. Students planning on a trade school should
take algebra.

GEOMETRY

This
course is designed to develop student proficiency with geometric
skill and expand understanding geometric concepts. Students will
develop reasoning and logic skills while working with and applying
knowledge to a variety of 2-and 3-dimensional objects.

ALGEBRA II

This
is a second year "Saxon" math course designed for the college
bound student. This class continues the process of teaching problem
solving while working with equations, graphs, percents, ratios,
exponents, basic techniques or solving word problems, and introductory
Geometry. Algebra II is a requirement for most colleges and a
prerequisite for Trig./Pre-Cal.
