We will have new and exciting classes to offer each quarter. Your choices this quarter are: "Consumer Savvy", "Painting, Printing, and Graphic Design", "Extreme Movies and Film Making" and "Super Cool Weaving". Parent, Teacher, Student (PTS) Conferences are right around the corner! November 18 will be daytime conferences (7:30am – 3:30pm) & November 19 will be afternoon/evening conferences (12Noon – 8:00PM) - Fall conference format will be as we have done in the past, (walk in format, where parents and students can go directly to the classroom to meet with the teacher during the available time frames posted at the door, then move on to the next available teacher). Look for more information in the bulletin, on the web site and in a letter home to students and parents. Plan ahead now to attend the Parent, Teacher and Student Fall Conferences either on Wed, Nov. 18 or Thurs. Nov. 19. SKYWARD FAMILY ACCESSCLICK HERE
2009 - 2010 SCHOOL CALENDAR...Click here to view the 2009-2010 School Calendar IMPORTANT SCHOOL LUNCH ANNOUNCEMENT as of 11/2/09 : Students – you are responsible for checking with the lunch cashier on your balances. Before going to the lunch line you need to pay money on your lunch account in the ASB/Financial office, or bring money with you to purchase your lunch, or get your free or reduced lunch form turned into the office and processed for approval. If you have a negative balance (owing $), you must also clear that balance before they can allow you to eat. Unfortunately, your lunches will be pulled if you do not follow the proper steps to assure you are cleared to eat school lunch daily. Reminder – a new lunch form is required each school year for the free or reduced lunch program. Those forms can be picked up at any time in the main office and returned to the office right away to be processed. We can also check your lunch account balances for you. If you have any questions, please speak with a school secretary to help you. Money can be applied on his/her regular or reduced pay lunch account at the start of the school day in the ASB/Financial Office. School lunch prices are as follows; Regular Price: Breakfast - .40 cents, Lunch - $2.25, Reduced Price: Breakfast - No Charge, Lunch - $1.25. For more information on the school lunch program please contact the main office. Student Registration – Stop in to schedule a registration appointment and tour our school, or you may call the counseling office 826-8531 to schedule an appointment to register a new student enrolling at Omak High School. ATTENDANCE POLICY & PROCEDURE AT OHS: Click here to read the ATTENDANCE Policy document - click here to view a copy of the new attendance policy/procedures letter sent out to parents and students from the principal in August 2009. Student ASB Cards – ASB Cards may be purchased for $25.00. All Pioneer athletes are required to purchase an ASB card for sports eligibility. We encourage all other students to purchase the card as well to help support your school activities and Omak ASB. This card entitles you to discounted prices into athletic events, school dances and other school related activities. For more information see Mrs. Desjardins in the ASB Financial Office. School Accident Insurance: If you are interested in purchasing school accident insurance, call the Athletic office to obtain more information or stop by to pick up the form. If you don’t see information posted here on this site, just give us a call. This is going to be a great year!
