North Omak Elementary exists to prepare students to participate in a democratic society by ensuring that all students meet or exceed district, state, and federal learning requirements annually.

Welcome to North Omak Elementary!

Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade students attend our school. Although a separate program, the Preschool Program(children birth to five years old) is housed here also.The school was constructed new and first occupied in 1989. It is 48,758 square feet and is located on a spacious five-acre campus at 615 North Oak Street in Omak, Washington. The main building consists of a library, gym, multipurpose room, music room, two offices, twenty-two general classrooms and a number of other small work areas and office spaces. In addition to the main building, three portable units provide extra classroom space. Total enrollment for grades K-2 is 372 students. Kindergarten -- 139; First Grade -- 121; Second Grade --112.

Omak Preschool Programs includes a Birth-to-Three Special Education component, which is primarily home based, with center- based Toddler Group sessions twice a month. Classes for children age three to five are half-day, AM and PM, Monday through Thursday. The Three-to-Five Program includes a Special Education component, a state funded income based PreschoolEducation and Assistance Program (ECEAP) component, a private pay Co-op Preschool component and an income-based component funded by Initiative 728 for children who do not qualify for any other preschool program. All components are integrated in four different classrooms. Offices and one classroom are located in the main building and three classrooms are located in portable units behind the main building. The Preschool currently serves 125 students.
