Albin's 8th Science
| Classwork | 70 % |
| Quiz/Tests | 20 % |
| Effort | 10 % |
| extra credit options |
| Grades are posted weekly, as much as possible, by student code. | |||||||
| Students are responsible for watching the grade posting and letting me know of any mistakes. | |||||||
| Students are responsible for seeing what they are missing and getting it turned in. | |||||||
| Students should save all returned papers until the end of the quarter, either in binder or at home. This is in case a question comes up about missing work. | |||||||
| If you miss a quiz, make it up on the following Friday - ASK ME FOR IT. | |||||||
| If you have a question about the grading on a paper or your notebook, you must show me the paper or "notebook grading rubric" when you come with your question. | |||||||
| If you have a question about your grade I want to discuss it with you. HOWEVER in class when I am busy is not the time. It is best to talk to me about it before or after school, or set up a time with me. If I am not busy we can discuss it during class, but I am generally pretty busy in class. Bring the work or grading sheet you are questioning with you. | |||||||
| Effort grades are based on bringing pens, pencils, paper, binder, book every day, taking your book with you when you leave, and on working as assigned (being on task). | |||||||
Makeup Work

| Extra Credit (called ECs), are a way to earn extra credit, occaisionally used as makeup. They are described further on the Extra Credits page. | |||||||
| ECs are only to be worked on when the current day's assignment is completed. They may be done outside of class time OR if you finish early one day. |
