Compare & Contrast
        Food Chains with Food Webs

Food webs and food chains are the same because they are both about energy moving thru an ecosystem.(food, and the process of eating habits in an ecosystem).  Who eats who, who gets eaten by whom.

However, a chain is much simpler, one organism eating only one organism, or being eaten by only one.  Food webs show complex relationships, lots of stuff one eats or is eaten by. The web is more realistic in showing eating habits (energy transfers).
