    • created e-works, one of:
      • Powerpoint (ppt) presentation
      • Billboard (bmp)
      • Excel
    • graded on:
      • quality of information -
      • covers material from one of your classes
      • conveys information effectively
      • effective use of software
      • effective presentation skills
      • completed on time
    • journal, Word document that shows:
      • what you are working on
      • for what class / teacher

Class Routine
  • 50 minute periods
    • first 25 minutes -
      • you work independantly on TTL
    • rest of period
      • create eWork
      • present completed eWork
      • audience for other students
Journal
  • use Word
  • header (View / Header and Footer)
    •   Lastname, Firstname       codenumber       Albin Computers7
    • name on left margin; code centered, class on right margin
    • use tabs to space these
  • Title:  centered, underlined, bold     "codenumber Journal"
  • table, four columns:  today's date ; class & topic ; date due ; notes
  • adjust column widths to be most useful (how wide does each need to be?)
  • At end of period update journal with date & what you accomplished that day.  At least 25 words.
  • save, backup, close
e-Work
 Concept ppt
  • create a ppt that explores and explains an idea or concept you are currently studying in one of your classes.  It needs to:

    • identify the class

    • clearly explain and explore the concept

    • use graphics

    • use words sparingly

      • no long paragraphs

    • use ppt effectively

      • bells and whistles should help, not distract

      • text needs to be readable when projected

    • use your codenumber always

    • creating this should advance your knowledge, not simply share info you learned in 5th or 6th grade

turn in to:
AB-1 / Albin / ppt 1 (or 2 or whichever it is)

name it:
theClass theConcept yourname

example:
  Science Heat MrAlbin
(this would be for the concept of  HEAT studied in Science done by student Mr Albin)

create a picture (.bmp) in Paint that explains a science concept (idea or theory) we are currently studying.

  • useful information

  • new information, not something any 5th or 6th grader already knows
