Congratulations to the Omak Middle School and High School staff and students on being the 2008 Okanogan County plastic recycling contest winners. The recycling crew would like to thank everyone for their efforts to make this 1st place win possible. Omak contributed 90.5 lbs. of plastic, Okanogan 4th with 22 1/4 lbs, Liberty Bell 5th with 21 lbs., and Pateros 6th with 1/2 a bag. We will be receiving a concrete bench for our school as recognition for our first place win. Thanks to everyone for your efforts and participation. The recycle crew will continue to recycle plastic, aluminum cans, newspaper and paper until June 10. Please deliver to room 204 in the Middle School or let us know if you need a pick up. Way to Omak!
